Seems sturdy and reliable

I wanted a basic stove and this seems the perfect choice. I like the electric ignition, so the gas is not fueling a pilot light. It does not have many frills, but that means there is less to break. So far the burners and oven work as expected.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This range is a replacement for a previous GE Range that just got traded because it was 18 years old. It still worked.

Honest Range Review

Oven temp calabrated & is 100% correct. Cooktop is good, flame even & consistent. Overall good range.
Relevant negatives: Igntition switch for 2 burnrs quit within 2 months, now must light with matches. Knobs on front turn on if slighty brushed against; have to check when "off" to assure burners truly off. Oven poorly vented & entire cooktop gets very hot; must move everything off cooktop, anything on surrouonding counters/area must be 18+ inches away or will get hot, damaged or melt. Have to get onto floor to access broiler.

Bought in Dec. and Stove broken within 1 month and it had to get a repair appointment
