No pre-heat signal
on January 19, 2018

According to the online manual it shows a signal or light for when the oven is at temp after preheating, but there is none, also no clock or timer, this is not for me,can buy one at a local store for the same price and get more bells and whistles, not worth the money, will return,Also can't get the oven temp correct after adjusting per your instructions, closest I get is within 40 degrees, and I was using 2 different thermometers to be sure.

Too Difficult to reach broiler
on March 28, 2019
Posted by: Bad purchasing experience
from Phoenix, AZ
Made the mistake of buying an oven online! It had good reviews, but I thought, like any stove, the broiler would be inside the oven. It took almost 20 minutes for me to realize that the broiler was down where storage generally is. Who wants to bend down to the floor with a hot pot roast to slide it into a drawer sized broiler? The broiler is too small it's too low and it's too shallow. A hazardous situation! I'm about to give this stove away and buy a different brand that has regular cooking features.

Awful oven, worse company

The mechanism that sends the signal from the nob to the igniter went in less than 2 years. Cost more to fix than the oven is worth. Have to buy a whole new oven, I can promise it won’t be a GE.

Buy a better stove
on November 18, 2019

I like GE products but not this stove model. No clock or timer, the stove top burners set too high & pans slide around. The broiler did not have a drip pan, had to find one to sorta fit. Issue did not stand out in store but did after getting stove home & started using it.

Use care considering price versus design failures
on April 4, 2021

1) The insulation over the oven is not enough, so the top of the range between the burners becomes too hot. 2) The grates over the burners are so slippery than pans easily slide around. 3) The control knobs for the burners do not align strictly vertical in the Off position, which saps confidence in fit and finish.

In need of repair after only 4 days

The stove may be very nice but I am still waiting on someone to repair it. It had a noticeable gas leak after only 4 days and the gas co. shut off the gas to it until it has been repaired. Have no idea when that will happen, as I reported it but still waiting.
