I have had several GE appliances and they are dependable. This dishwasher is very quite and it looks great. Love the recessed handle.

It's very quiet and does great job cleaning! My wife loves the bottle jets and stainless steel tub

Very Quiet Dishwasher

Dishwasher extremely quiet. Cleans everything well. Run times are quite long but with it being so quiet it's not a huge problem. The adjustment on the rinse aide door looks like the same opening for Maximum and Minimum setting - so not sure if the rinse aide is just pouring out. Another drawback is the door is flimsy (moves quite a bit when twisted side to side) and the water that remains on the plastic ware.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
