Overall i like the features. It was a bit difficult for me to figure out how to unlock the program. That settled, I struggled with pairing the machine to my phone. This is to be expected since i was born pre-WWII. I have, in my lifetime, excluding myself had seven dishwashers. This one is the finest operating and cleaning and drying I have ever owned. I also installed it and it was quite a straight forward and quick intallation.

It’s so quite

This dishwasher gets our dishes so clean and is so quiet when it runs! I love the get spray feature for the cup as much as I love the top rack for cooking utensils! The only thing I don’t like is how sensitive the buttons are, I often find that someone in the house is accidentally turning it on. It won’t run if the door is not closed all the way so that has saved us.

Very frustrated. This is the replacement dishwasher for a brand new one that had issues. The installation was great and so was the service, but once again we are having issues with replacement dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Somewhat disappointed with the performance

Our 17-year-old GE dishwasher seized up its discharge pump. For the cost of repair why not just buy a new one.
I chose this new GE model based on noise level mostly. It is quiet, one often wonders if it is running.at all.
In retrospect, if I could have purchased new the identical model I had I would have gone for it in a heartbeat.
I miss not having all the controls in front. I had to move this one out about two inches just to see the controls. I never had to use heated drying as opening the door when finished allowed the dishes to be completely dry by morning. The complete cycle took about 57 minutes, the new one takes at least 75 minutes or more. And when leaving the door open overnight there are still lots of undried dishes.
The old had two distinct beeps to let you know the wash was complete. Only a faint alert on the new. Stainless steel interior may look nice but it is easy to miss a knife or fork that may have fallen into the bottom. The old had three spinning wash arms, the new only two. Had I not been in such a hurry for a new dishwasher I would have given more thought to comparing the old and the new.
There are places around here that refurbish appliances. I will suffer this new one for now but am asking those places to be on the lookout for the model we used to have.

Newer dishwashers are designed with water and power efficiency in mind, and may take longer than you are used to because of this. Selecting options on the control panel such as "presoak," "sani," and "dry" will each add time to the cycle. More information on which modes add time to your cycle is on pages 7 of the use and care manual, linked here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--naYED2k---/jhwl0efhhuz7hitwmwqx.pdf
As for the dishwasher not drying, this could be due to multiple factors. First, we would recommend giving your dishwasher time to vent after the cycle ends. Also, please check that a high-quality rinse aid is being used, and that your inlet water temperature reaches at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit (this can be checked by running the faucet nearest your dishwasher on the highest setting and checking the temperature). More troubleshooting steps to try are on page 23 of the use and care manual, linked above.

Stainless Steel first-timer
