Good dishwasher

My daughter bought the same dishwasher and is disappointed does not have a rinse only cycle. Also don’t like the control buttons on top of the door. Every time you access the dishwasher unless you have the panel locked you touch the buttons and change your settings. Is a pain to lock and unlock panel all of the time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the stainless steel tub

Love having the stainless steel tub. It stays clean after each use. Well worth the extra $. Love the 3rd tray for items that are too big or too small for the regular utensil rack. Only one con: for me I would have liked the controls to be on the front of the door, rather than on the top of the door. (because when I open the door, the controls are so sensitive that when I just brush them they turn on the dishwasher) This could corrected by putting a cover over the controls.) Thank you GE.

This unit has many features that we are sure you will enjoy. We're pretty fond of the Steam and Sani option. It loosens tough soils before any cycle, virtually eliminating the need for soaking or pre-rinsing dishes. We can all use that!

Nice Product So Far

Just purchase and self-installed. Product was delivered as planned. So far, so good. The manual is not well written, particularly for the steps to install. How to secure the dishwasher to the cabinet was not implied in the online advertisements, so I purchased a "Granite Countertop Dishwasher Installation Kit" with the purchase of the dishwasher. That was NOT required as I found out in looking up GE dishwasher installation videos on the internet. Having to purchase an electrical cord, drain extension and water supply line separately is ridiculous. Why not just include it with the dishwasher? Installation videos on the internet were extremely helpful as the owners manual was not well written.
I would recommend this to a friend!
