this unit has a lot of useful features, and is easy to use. we had a few issues with installation, but worked through them, and everything is working fine now. replaced a ca 1992 Whirlpool unit: it is unbelievable how quiet it is, and how sparkling clean things come out. definitely a solid purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very nice dishwasher!

I installed this dishwasher. It didn’t come with the water source connection. I had to go to the hardware store to get it and is a common item so I guess most new dishwasher don’t come with it. It came with plenty of insulation for the access panel. I was unable to use the rubber insulating strips that was supplied because the opening for the dishwasher next to the cabinet was very tight. I end up stuffing other material between the cabinetry and dishwasher. It is very quiet compared to our prior GE dishwasher which was quiet also. If you look at my photos you can see bottles wash spouts which is a really great feature if you use bottles or jars! We use it a lot. It has a thin top shelf and 2 baskets for the dishes. They must have reconfigured the design because I can get more dishes in than the old dishwasher. The controls are on the top edge of the front door which I thought initially was a mistake or strange since all the others are in the front panel but now I appreciate it because it hides the controls after you shut the front door. It was a bit strange touch programming the wash but you get used to it and when you shut the door you can’t see any thing. That maybe a good or bad thing. The only negative about this dishwasher is that the program for a normal wash is really long. The number says 242 I assumed it was in minutes that means 4 hours our old GE took an 1.5 hours. So far it does a great job but to me kind of long.

So far so good. I had to purchase a new dishwasher as mine had stop performing well. The only problems was some of the parts were missing and I had to rob them off my old dishwasher, like the electrical cord and drain hose. But since I have started using it it is working great.

Love the top/bottom option

We love the top/ bottom dish washing option to do half loads. Giving 4 stars because less than 1 month and the silver trim has peeled off so we had to super glue it down.

I had originally planned to order a different GE dishwasher but when I went in to look at it the sales person talked me into this one. When I got home and read the reviews I was a bit worried... but I am very pleased so far (have only had it a few weeks). Love the 3rd level and the boost features. My dishes come out great every time and it is so quiet I sometimes check to see if it's on. Two design features I wish were different (but not enough to make me dislike the dishwasher). I would prefer the utensil holder in front rather than the side, and if the 3rd rack is in and you have wine glasses on the middle rack they hit the top of the 3rd rack, but if you lower the 2nd rack the washing arms hit the tops of my regular size dishes. Solution: either put wine glasses in on an angle or remove the 3rd rack (which is very easy). I have not had some of the issues in previous reviews (no problem with wheels falling off) Happy with my purchase
