Impossible to install

We returned it. GE needs to try to follow their own installation instructions and see how it works out. We’ve installed a dozen dishwashers so not our first rodeo.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good for my current needs

This model takes a long time to run a cycle--more than 2 hours. It is slightly louder than my old one because I can hear it run without putting my ear on the door to check; however, it is still quiet enough that it doesn't interfere with watching TV in my open plan home. I wish it had holders for stemware and don't see why GE didn't include the flip down stemware holder on this model given that the next one down does. The third rack/basket seems minimally useful to me because it pretty much only holds silverware or very flat items like (some) large spoons. I would have not have chosen the third tray option, except the one I ordered was damaged in shipping before it got to my home, and store I purchased from upgraded me to this model with the third tray. I wish it had a built in food disposer like my old dishwasher, but I could not find a model in stock with a food disposer at the time I made this purchase. Overall, this dishwasher seems to do a great job at getting dishes clean, but I would prefer to have a disposer where I could throw super dirty stuff in rather than rinsing or scraping first. Take note that filling the rinse aid is EXTREMELY difficult because of the size+orientation of the filler. Overall, I am satisfied and hope to get many years of use from it before upgrading in the future.

Silent wash cycle

It’s very sleek looking. Love the look. It’s very quite during the wash cycle. Lots of room for dishes and the racks are deeper.
