Reading reviews is a good way to get an idea of how well products work. I did my reading, now it's my turn to write. I can tell you that I just replaced an older generation profile dishwasher with this one. It's so quiet I don't even know it's on. It cleans well and has a nifty feature of jets to wash inside of bottles. Granted, dishwashers are nothing to get excited about, all they do is clean dishes, but this is (so far) a pleasure. The installation is exactly the same for almost all dishwashers and in most cases even 'slightly handy' people can tackle this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The GE dishwasher has been upgraded from the model I had before. The electronics are below the dishwasher compartment. This prevents moisture from getting into the electronics, and stopping the dishwashers operation. I did experience the dishwasher stopping operation within the first month of installation. The factory repair took place quickly, and it is now operational. However, the repair individual removed a rubber gasket at the top of the dishwasher. Condensation has now occurred in the digital readout. I will need the repair folks to return to fix that.

Love the look and location of the controls. The layout of the baskets inside holds more dishes than my last washer.

Best dishwasher I've ever owned

I used to be a strictly Bosch customer, but this dishwasher is amazing. I love the third rack, bottle washer, and quiet run cycle. It's awesome!

Third drawer

I wanted a third shelf and disposal on a dishwashing machine. This GE had the two requirements and I didn't pay attention to the other features. Sadly the feature I used most, rinse, was not included. Also no short wash. The one hour wash turns into 2 hours.
It does however get the dishes clean and spot free (if you use the rinse agent). I do not like the controls being hidden. they are hard to use.. The cancel button has to be pressed numerous times before it reactts. I would not buy this product again.

Racks not well positioned

Very disappointed in the design of the racks in this dishwasher. Wine glasses won't fit on the top and on the bottom there's not really a place for them where they don't get banged around. If you lower the top rack, anything with any height at all interferes with the mechanism. if you raise the top rack, even small plates don't fit on the top rack. Really poorly designed in my opinion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Look No Further!

This dishwasher is extremely quiet and cleans better than expected. The dry boost feature is helpful, no more pulling wet dishes out of the dishwasher! We have dogs and kids and after we eat dinner I always notice my kids letting the dogs lick off the plates. Needless to say, I use to wipe the plates off first before putting them in the dishwasher. I no longer have to do that because this dishwasher has a sanitization mode that sterilizes the dishes with hot steam. If you want a dishwasher that meets your family’s needs, “Look No Further”, this is the one you want.
