There is no track for racks so it is not a smooth rack pull.
Dishwasher is quiet but does take sometime for a standard wash compared to others.

Hello - We are glad to hear that that your dishwasher is quiet. Dishwashers now run longer to ensure good wash performance, but they use less energy while running. Also, in using less water, your water heater does not need to provide as much hot water and therefore is not using energy to heat more water. Thank you so much for your feedback regarding he racks. Love the configuration, especially the thin top rack for items too thin to put anywhere else. Cleans and sanitizers to perfection. Extremely quiet!!

Our original dishwasher came with our house, which was built in 1993. Needless to say, the technology has improved since that old, loud, monster was new. We settled on the GE after reading reviews and price shopping for a few days, we made our choice (everything was on back order due to COVID, but we had our unit delivered and installed weeks before the expected date). We are pleased with the GE dishwasher! We’ve had it for a couple of months now, and run several cycles. I haven’t used a new dishwasher for years, and I’m surprised at how quiet they are…there’s an array of soft sounds from the machine, and an indicator light to show it’s operating, but step a few feet away and you can’t hear it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall we are very pleased with our dishwasher purchase, it is quiet, does a great job washing and has plenty of capacity. My only concern is the “feel” of the unit it is lightweight and the interior components “float” rather than being rigid and stout. This unit was comparable in terms of rigidity to all the other major manufactures we investigated prior to purchase. I hope this unit stands up to life with two kids and a wife opening and closing it constantly- so far so good.

Controls are confusing. If touch they go on.

I am getting used to the new dishwasher. My old GE was 14 years old. All of the inside is different and so are the controls. I am very disappointed as the manual for the dishwasher is only one page. There is no place that tells you about the shelving inside the dishwasher and how to move them around. Very disappointed that I cannot get a normal manual about the dishwasher.
