Very quiet, but missing some high end qualities

Price for this dishwasher was ~850 when purchased. At that price, we were expecting all characteristics to be high end, but too many of the qualities were midrange, and a few were low end.
High end: The machine is very quiet and has a time delay so that the machine can be loaded and closed at one time, but its start time can be programed for some later time. The machine has a utensil drawer that is nice in principle. Loading the machine with dishes that have not been prerinsed does not matter. Nearly all of the dishes are cleaned regardless of how much dried food remains on the dishes upon loading.
Midrange: The machine has "blind spots". We load it with dishes that have not been prerinsed. About once per run, an area of one dish will not get cleaned. This contrasts high end dishwashers from Maytag and Whirlpool that we have used previously. The machine does not have smart home functionality that is standard at this pricepoint. The glides and wheels on the drawers are not smooth and often feel like they might misalign if we aren't especially careful with opening them. The utensils in the utensil drawer aren't cleaned as well as if you use the utensil basket. The organization of the loading prongs in the drawers are placed more efficiently in other high end dishwashers that we have used. The organization in this machine reduces the number of dishes that can be placed into the machine for a single run.
Low end: The install procedure lacks conveniences that are standard at this and lower price points. The leveling system is tedious. Three of the parts (leveling feet/screws/mounting brackets) did not properly fit in the appropriate holes. One leveling foot was not properly threaded for its hole. The screws for attaching the mounting brackets to the machine were slightly too big for the mounting bracket and too small to catch the holes on the machine. The spacers that are designed to fill the gaps around the machine in the cabinet are well engineered but poorly designed so that they are unnecessarily difficult to install consistently.
Overall, it is a good dishwasher but is being sold as a great dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great. Cleans pretty messy dishes without any hand washing beforehand. One minor complaint is how the racks are laid out.
