Great Dishwasher

We use plastic cups in place of actual glassware in our house. The last dishwasher we had would barely wash them and never fully dry them. It's like night and day with this dishwasher! It handles the dirtiest dishes and everything comes out completely dry! I love it! There are plenty of water outlets where you would expect them to be and more. I'm very satisfied with this purchase to the point that I'm debating on getting all ge appliances.

dishwasher works great. It is quiet and cleans very well. I have only had it for 2 weeks so I don't know anything long term. So far so good.

We were so excited to have a brand new dishwasher. This one seemed like it would be pretty decent from other reviews we read but it’s only just been “okay”.
We do like how deep the bottom and middle racks are and I love the very top rack. We’ve utilized the top rack for bottle parts and it holds them fine and nothing is slung down into the bottom.
The wash cycle is fairly quiet but running times take forever to complete a full cycle. Yes, selecting different functions extends the time but when you just run a basic wash, it seems like it runs forever but we’ve learned to live with it. It’s not that big of a deal.
Our biggest complaint is the blower motor/drying fan makes a God awful humming sound the ENTIRE time it drys the dishes and even after the cycle is finished. It stops when you open the door or if you let it run the cooldown. It’s not a soft/low humming sound either. This joker sounds like the door is going to be blown off its hinges or that there are 10,000 bees living in the door and they’re trying to escape. It is by no means quite. We’ve tried everything to fix it. Adjusting the feet on it to level it, trying to move it away from the cabinet thinking maybe it’s vibration (it’s not), adjusting the cover inside the door and nothing has worked. It’s not the food disposer either. I rinse all of the dishes before they are placed inside, so no big food particles are inside of it. Plus, as stated above, it only makes this sound while it’s drying the dishes. Even when you deselect the dry boost option it still makes this sound.
What’s crazy is, even though it does it 98% of the time, there is a small percentage that it doesn’t make this sound! When it doesn’t, it’s one of the quietest dishwashers I’ve ever heard.
I was able to find something in the manual for this dishwasher and they claim that this sound is NORMAL! We just purchased this dishwasher in May 2020 (for about a grand) and it sounds like it is about to die. Something this expensive and brand new should not be making this sound.
Overall, we’re not satisfied with this big purchase because of this sound issue. If it didn’t make this sound, it would be one of the best but because of that, it’s not.
I definitely would not recommend this dishwasher to anyone.

We love our GE dishwasher. It is super quiet and I love the bottle jets. The third rack is also a great feature to hold small items. It really does a great job cleaning my dishes.
