Works well, loads awkwardly

Like the dishwasher cleans well and very quiet but glasses don't load well and often fall when washing, resulting in broken glasses.

More room needed

Bought this because of past good experience with ge dishwaters. Very disappointed as they seem to have changed the arrangement of the racks and less seems to fit. Nice and quiet, cleans well.

Your model has both an Adjustable Upper Rack and fold down tines for both your upper and lower racks. Please take a look in the use and care guide, starting on page 13, in our link, below:

Here you will find loading tips and details on how to adjust the racks to your liking. There are also illustrations of different ways you can load the dishes for optimum performance.

Good dishwasher, my opinion as an engineer

My ~5 year old GE dishwasher began to not wash as well
At the time, I failed to realize that the heating element failed. This led to gunk in the old DW that began to smell
Another issue with the old DW was the controls were on the top. If one is not careful, one can bump the top cover for the controls. A new cover piece is then needed. The new top cover was not easy to install and came off again

The new DW has the controls on the front, which is a much better design IMHO
The silver washer spray jets are a great feature and so are the bottle wager feature
I will keep a closer watch on the heating elements this time

did alot of searching and we couldnt believe what a great unit for the money. loved all the features that came with this unit. it was so quiet we thought it wasnt running.

Love this dishwasher!

Everything is clean and DRY when I open it up to put away my dishes. All the plastic ware is not covered in water droplets and the glasses do not have water marks. I've only had it for 2 months, so I can't speak to longevity, but I am so glad I picked this over a Bosch!
