Although we have only had the dishwasher for a few days, it is very quiet and doesn’t leave any marks on silverware or glasses.

I Love this GE Dishwasher! I like the 3rd rack feature for silverware and other small items. Hidden handle gives a clean look. I purchased a higher priced dishwasher with every upgrade once in the past and the dishes were soaked at the end of the dry cycle. I do not have that problem with GE dishwashers. Before I used the rinse aid I had water in dishes that had rims. Don't think any dishwasher gets all water off dishes with rims(was about the same with rinse aid). 1 hour wash with rinse aid cleaned and dried my dishes great (I usually rinse before putting dishes in dishwasher because i don't always run it immediately).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought to replace a 3 year old dishwasher of another manufacturer after the dryer heater coil failed, and then the water valve failed and caused minor flood in the kitchen (just after the extended warranty expired).. The GE dishwasher was is so much better, quiter, dries the dishes OK (I use the single light dryer boost and dishes are dry, but some of the lips of plastic containers still wet). We really like the 3rd tray at top to place long items (like knife, etc.) that are too tall for the silverware tray. Used to put them on the top rack of old dishwasher and they would fall off inbtween racks (and land on the dryer heater coil, cause a hot spot and burn out).
The only complaint I have is location of the controls are hard to read / press when the door is closed.
