A little frustrating

The one issue we are havig is it is hard to close. It does not alway latch. Maybe it will get better when we get use to it.

We haven’t even used all the features yet, but will in time.
This unit is adjacent to our gathering room and you cannot hear that it is even on!

Much quieter than I expected

I bought the GE dishwasher to replace my 20 year old model. The size/capacity is spacious and the top rack has come in very handy when washing the lids to my grandson's sippy cups. My previous dishwasher had a simple square basket front center for utensils. This dishwasher has a long rectangle side basket with covers/lids. I didn't think I'd like the covers but found they are useful for toddler spoons. The covers are left open when not in use. I removed the covers/lids off of the first two sections. Variety of wash cycles is nice too. I have only used the one hour setting and the heavy setting, both worked very well. The exterior quality and operation panel is excellent. When I pull out the second top rack all the way (where the glasses go), it seems to tilt a little bit when empty, as if it were loaded and heavy. I didn't realize how loud my old dishwasher was until I used this one. Wow, what a difference. I can hardly hear it at all.

Worth every penny

My husband has a tendency to drink a gallon of milk a day, with a new cup every time. Which is good, but he never rinses his glasses out. So every time I go to load my old washer, I would have to basically wash everything before I loaded it. Even using the best of soaps, Cascade Platinum. Now with this new dishwasher ,with the bottle jets, the hardened milk scrubbing is a thing of the past.
It not only does that but when we first purchased and installed ,my husband wasn’t exactly thrilled with the pricing of such machinery. So he told me to do some baking as well as not rinse any of the dishes that have been there a day or so prior before loading the new dishwasher. If it did not operate to his satisfaction, he wanted his money back. Well I’m here to tell ya, I still own my GE dishwasher!

Why, Oh Why?

The dishwasher looks great! The way it works is less than great. There is not enough pressure to wash the dishes in one run of a normal cycle. The other problem is the cycle times. The 1 hour cycle runs for 187 minutes, not 60 minutes. The light cycle runs for 173 minutes. Why is that?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Christmas Gift Ever!

My husband sneaked out of the house, purchased, and installed this dishwasher for me while I was at work. I've been super happy with how well it cleans dishes, and I love the flatware tray feature. It makes loading the dishwasher a breeze! Also, it's so quiet that you don't ever even notice it running.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my new dishwasher! It took a little getting used to, since the top drawer sits a little lower than normal, due to the very top rack. But I love it! Super quiet! And the bottle jets are the greatest invention ever!
