Plastic pieces falling off. Silver trim piece around control panel has already come loose on one side. Bottom rack wheels falling off repeatedly. One fell off during a wash cycle and melted on the heating element. So disappointed with this dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not as nice as previous KitchenAid

We bought this GE dishwasher to replace a 1 year old KitchenAid unit which leaked. I have two complaints about the GE vs the KitchenAid. First, the third rack in the KitchenAid was much taller allowing bigger items to be put there. Also, the racks in the KitchenAid moved in and out MUCH smoother with wheels vs the GE with sliders.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dishwasher needs improvments

We replaced our 1 year old Kitchenaid dishwasher with this GE model. The Kitchenaid had a better deeper third rack and the racks moved in and out smoother due to being on wheels.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We love the dishwasher because it cleans great and is very quiet. However, I gave it one start because it leaks and it has been serviced twice.
