I am still learning to use the dishwasher’s many features/ settings. I am very impressed with how quiet it is and how clean it gets the dishes and silverware. The third shelf with the silverware rack on top is especially helpful and easily loaded. The capacity this dishwasher has is remarkable. I’m very satisfied with this machine and would highly recommend this to anyone interested in an upgraded appliance. We’ll done GE!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my new dishwasher! It was a reasonable price. Lots of features. Easy to use. And the quietest dishwasher. Minimal to no noise when it's running. Highly recommend!

Doesn’t get dishes clean

I was extremely disappointed with this dishwasher! We had one that was over 20 years old that cleaned better than this one. To be fair, we wanted a different brand but we’re talked into this one because the appliance place we went to didn’t have the brand we wanted, they said all dishwashers are basically the same right now, which is not true (my mom and sister have the brand we wanted and it’s noticeably different). We have to rinse everything before putting it in and at least three items come out still with marks or something on them in each load, no matter how empty it is. We love our other ge appliances but definitely would not recommend this one!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features if it worked, very disappointing

This dishwasher has been trouble from the start. I bought it in the beginning of 2020. Immediately had trouble with getting the door to stay closed and with the heat dry feature. Had a service tech out 2 times, but covid was just starting and caused many problems with service appointments after that. I finally gave up. Heating element and latch for door were replaced, but the problem was never fixed. It also consistently did not clean the dishes. The tub does not drain completely during the cycle from wash to rinse, etc or at the end of the cycle. There is always standing water in the bottom of the tub. I have figured out that if I start a cycle and cancel it the tub will drain completely, so I let half the cycle run, then manually stop it, make sure it drains, and restart a cycle so there is clean water to rinse. It still saves time but there is absolutely no start and leave alone with this unit. This problem has been consistent for the life of the unit. It took me a long time to realize that the tub not draining is why the dishes are always dirty. I was so excited about the features and convenience of this dishwasher, but really with I would have chosen something different. I work full time outside the home and am mom of 6 children, their father is no longer living with us or supporting my household at all, so buying a new dishwasher is a huge purchase for me. Next time I’ll do more research.

Great features if it cleaned

Disappointed from the beginning. Bought in beginning of 2020, had a tech out two times, replaced door latch and heater coil. Did not address the draining issue. Covid was just starting so appointments were difficult. I finally just gave up. Does not fully drain between cycles, so dirty water is continuously used. I can get it to fully drain if I stop a cycle when it starts, so I let it run, restart, stop cycle, and restart cycle again to use clean water. Not fast, needs babysitting, and still doesn’t get everything but at least the dishes aren’t dirtier than when it started. I work full time outside the home and have 6 children whose father does not live here or contribute to the household. I bought this for all the awesome features thinking it would be reliable and worth it. A dishwasher is a big purchase and this was so disappointing.
