It’s a beautiful dishwasher! Have already used it and will never go back to LG again! Love my new GE. The difference in cleaning is night and day! And it’s so quiet too!

Time For An UPGRADE!

I bout my GE Dishwasher GD 665 Series only a few days ago to replace, instead of repairing, my 16+ years old GE Profile. I 've only had the opportunity to used it twice and it's been wonderful not to hand wash dishes. It's been efficient and my dishes have come out clean and dry. It has an adjustable top rack and a 3rd tray to place large cooking utensils. Because my appliance was a floor display, it did not come with a manual but I was able to download the manual from the GE appliance website. The dishwasher also features 5 cycles with 5 different settings for wash zone, a sanitize/steam, dry boost, wash temperature. So far, great investment. Gives me time back in my life to do other things. Love it.

Very quiet. Water gets hot enough to melt plastic on the bottom shelf. A good thing for cleaning but don't put plastic on the bottom. Not much room on second shelf with top shelf in, but can be removed of not needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Did not work from the start . Had an error code , had a friend who had 5he same problem. Too bad GE is in the pits.

Problems since day one. Started with a noise that came on between cycles and constant during drying cycle. Started paper trail with GE and a service call was scheduled. Turns out it needs a new fan assembly in the door. 3 days after install and parts are already failing. Not impressed so far. Had to miss 2 days of work to deal with this and my stove that had a burner fail 3 days after installation also. AVOID AT ALL COST!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Details Make a Difference

I have been using this dishwasher for 5 months now and my review is it’s okay. Don’t like that it doesn’t have a rinse only cycle like my old one had, the door controls are sensitive while loading. The washing time are 1.5hrs or longer, and I wish you didn’t have to keep repressing the start button every time you open door to input additional dishes after it’s been programmed for delay start. The adjusting tines seems to not stay secured in the upright position when loading at times. Also, the instruction manual giving with this model doesn’t show any diagrams for GDP665 models series it only list series GDF ,GDT,GDP615 series.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
