So quiet!

This dishwasher is so quiet that I barely notice it’s on! No more waiting to start until my TV time is over.

Nice looking but louder than expected

It was in stock as a replacement for a Whirlpool unit that failed. It is loud. It was harder to install than necessary. It uses multiple sized fasteners. The water valve connection can't be easily tightened with a tool since the connection is horizontal instead of vertical. Typical stupid engineering decisions that could be fixed if the designer had to actually put one in themselves. Bottom line it's a dishwasher and it washes dishes. I expected better from GE espcially for the price
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great dishwasher

Upgraded to replace a 20 year old one and would never look back. It’s quiet, cleans, and is such an improvement. Installation was quick and professional.

It's okay.

This is the first dishwasher I've purchased on my own. The others have come with the houses I've bought. My old dishwasher was a 2005 model that was very loud compared to this new GE model. I do love that it is so quiet. What I do not love is the length of time it takes to run/clean.
I selected the auto sense clean the first time I used it, and the dishwasher ran for 2 HOURS or longer! I'm used to running the dishwasher for around an hour. None of the cycles actually show to be an hour, even the one that says "one hour."
The dry cycle has been someone disappointing as well. It's about the same as the unit from 2005, which was a different brand. I would have thought after 18 years, the drying features would be better. I will try the dry boost feature to see if that helps as well.
Overall, it's a good dishwasher. Of the three new appliances I bought, it's the one I'm least impressed with.

However, we are so sorry that this dishwasher has not lived up to your expectations. It is normal for dishwashing cycle to run longer than they used to (upwards to 2 hrs). Wash time is dependent on multiple factors such as soil of dishes, wash cycle selected, temperature, etc. We recommend utilizing the Dry Boost feature, as we are confident you will see a significant change in drying capability.

Love Our New Dishwasher!

This dishwasher works extremely well. It is very quiet and the new type of drying even leaves plastics dry! One of my favorite feature is the extra drawer in the top for utensils, lids, and other flat objects.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great performance. The unit was very easy to install and is very quiet. The 3rd draw is a great plus. This unit replaced an older GE model and the capacity is significantly greater.
