Sleek, Quiet, Quality.

We've had about 2 months with our new GE dishwasher. It's taken some time to adjust to different stacking/organization/storage inside and finding the best ways to put our dishes. It also took a while to find the best setting that worked for us.
Pros:
Quiet
Uses less water
Seems to get things pretty clean once you find your best settings
Upper & Lower jets
Bottle jets (we have a 7mo baby and this does great with bottles and gross coffee cups)
Ability to run top and bottom or just one or the other.
Delayed wash cycle up to 12 hours (we run it in the middle of the night, love that!)
Adjustable pegs in the bottom rack to accommodate a variety of sizes
Looks great, sleek design.

Completion light goes off and stays off the second you open the door, which doesn't tell others in the household if it's clean or dirty. We mitigated this by a dirty/clean magnet.
The top rack has an odd setup IMO and doesn't provide the most flexibility for organizing dishes.
All in all I'd buy this again, it's so far been a huge upgrade from our previous GE (which was a beast but it was a matter of time until it's demise).

Stopped working after only 2 years

While I had few complaints initially this dishwasher has died - starts up but won't move past the initial drain cycle - and I've had it installed just 2 years. Not sure if its mechanical or software and without a good service option its looking like it'll cost me $100s of dollars to diagnose. Meanwhile the one I removed - and installed in another spot - keeps chugging away fine. Really disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve had this dishwasher less than five years and I’ve had five repairs and now it’s dead again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
