Love the versatility of the racks!

Our 20 year old dishwasher died on us and after LOTS of research, comparing and sorting through reviews we decided to purchase a GE dishwasher to replace it. We’ve had our new dishwasher installed for a little over two weeks and so far I am very pleased! As a household of six our dishwasher is ran daily, so I am anxious to see how this stands up to the test of time.
Pros: very quiet. love the third rack for utensils or that it can be removed. adjustable middle rack is very nice for accommodating larger pots or pans in the bottom. Dries dishes wonderfully (when dry boost is on high). Dishes get clean, even with minimal rinsing before loading. Exterior design is very easy to wipe down.
Cons: bottom rack has an awkward design, which is not very accommodating for larger cookware or dinner plates. door seems very flimsy. I don’t like the closure design on the door, as it doesn’t really “click” when you close the door.

Simplistic to use

Love the new dishwasher. Would love if it had a down to the floor projected display like seen on a IKEA model since top controls are blocked by the countertop. Washer is very quiet and cleans the dishes exceptionally well!!

I researched several different brands until I came upon the perfect one for my needs. It's quiet, efficient, and matches beautifully with all of my other GE appliances.

Very unhappy so far.

We have only had this a few days. Two issues already and this one is major. Unit was installed properly per instructions, leveled, tightened etc. Once it was loaded down with dishes, the "legs" slide and pivots and the entire bottom shifts towards the back wall with the weight. We had a dishwasher (not GE) in the same place for 15 years without this issue ever happening. Very disappointing. Second issue: ran it for the first time and dishes look nice & clean. The entire inside is soaking wet though; door, bottom, sides. That moisture will lead to mildew and gross smells.

Light years ahead of the machine we replaced!

This machine came into our lives as part of a kitchen update/remodel with new countertops and tiled walls/floors. The old machine came with the house when we bought it in 2004, so no real idea how old it was but it was definitely time to replace it. Installation was straightforward and I did everything myself. The machine handles food waste easily, included filter is easy to check and clean. The bottle washer feature is cool and works well (just wish there was a way to see it in action!!). All in all, very happy thus far. Will be even happier if it lasts as long as our old one!
