Massive Leak

My wife and I bought this dishwasher roughly a year and a half ago. We started our dishwasher before going to bed as usual, when we woke up the next morning and noticed water damaged hardwood flooring and our basement ceiling needs to be removed to prevent mold and completely redone. I removed the dishwasher and found a rubber tube that supplies water to the "jets" is cracked. This is the second GE dishwasher that has leaked and damaged our home, the first own was older so my and I didn't get too upset about. We replaced the old one with this new that leaked after a year and half.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replaced old Kenmore

This dishwasher has been installed for about 2 weeks and is working well so far. Still getting used to top of door controls. I think I liked the front facing controls on my old Kenmore better. Also, even on high temp dry, it still leaves water drops on the inside of the washer. Also, GE's quality control is lacking. Two of the four adjustable feet were threaded crooked. I had to use a machinists tap to rethread them. I have purchased four GE appliances in the last few months and all but one of them had some kind of problem that should have been caught by quality control.
It's very light weight and fairly easy to install. The biggest plus is that it is extremely quiet. It's so quiet that it cannot be heard unless you get within just a few feet from it.

Stopped running water after 18 months

Dishwasher stopped running water after only 18 months. Original delivered dishwasher didn't work and had to be returned.

Beautiful but misses the small things

This is a beautiful and very well functioning dishwasher, and yet there was no manual included. Sure I can get one off the internet and print it for my Mom, but really, this expensive a product and no manual??
