We are a household of 10 and When our old dishwasher broke we did our research and found this one!! We have not been disappointed!! With the features of the third rack and the bottle jets this is the best dishwasher we have ever owned. I would 10 out of 10 recommend this dishwasher to anyone looking for an upgrade.

Beware of leaks ruining your house!

We enjoyed our dishwasher for about 2.5 years until out of nowhere we had a leak from a rubber recirculation hose underneath. It pooled water under your flooring, leaked under our cabinets and ruined my cabinets and wood floors. My husband and I are in the midst of trying to dry out and salvage floors, dry wall and cabinets. We had no warning signs and are livid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

5 1/2 years... that's all she wrote

We moved into this renovated house six years ago, and were very happy that all the appliances had been newly replaced with GE Profile units. This dishwasher, model PDF820SSJ0SS, ran great for about 5 1/2 years. Then, like all the other reviews on this unit, the motherboard failed, showing that the door wouldn't latch (three beeps). I had to replace the motherboard and replaced the latch mechanism just to be sure.
I know these units were expensive, and it's poor QC to see so many examples of the same problem. BTW, I've also had to replace the motherboard on the Profile built-in oven. Hey GE... maybe look into your electronics provider? I won't buy GE again.

Terrible product

worst dishwasher ever. The plastic trim around the control panel is made with cheap plastic and has fallen off three times. The detergent doesn’t always come out when you turn the dishwasher on And the spinner at the bottom that sprays the water has melted and now I don’t have a dishwasher
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheap and Mediocre manufacturing..

As each and every review isnposting , the top trim is very cheaply made and will break for sure . Also the wheels keep coming off and getting burned in dishwasher hot metal rod . The bottom washing arm has metal piece at end which will fall off . Overall this is worst dishwasher i have ever had , hoping to see what ge does and will reply to this review again

poor quality and durability

2 years in and it failed, the main board on the unit needs replacing. Very disappointing. One would expect better quality and reliability from a brand like GE, and nice model dishwasher.
