Quiet and Effective

This GE dishwasher is the first GE dishwasher I have ever used. To be short, it does a good job. Cleans and drys dishes well. The height adjustable rack is very convenient. Buttons on the top edge of door are nice, but smudge easily. A clean cloth will quickly clear it up. The sound level is wonderful. My only complaint is that during one of its cycles, the dishwasher emits a high pitched whine that can be annoying. Overall I do love the dishwasher. I mainly bought it because of the bottle zone but it seems my bottles are a little to big for normal daily wash as they have to be washed to accommodate the extra height, which the adjustable rack comes in handy. Good dishwasher. Would buy again.

Very Quiet!

When we shopped for a new dishwasher, we had two requirements: it must be quiet, and it must have a stainless steel tub. This machine has both, but I think we were surprised at just how quiet it is! It cleans well, too. My only issue—which is a minor one—is that the shortest setting is still an hour or more. Our old Bosch had a quick 34-minute setting, which we use a lot, because we put only plates, cups, bowls, and silverware in the washer. We hand wash pans. Very happy with this appliance.

More complete instruction booklet.

I feel that the operating instructions could be more complete. It did not explain what the numbers meant on setting area .and the difference in cleaning & drying outcome for the choice selections... Overall it cleans well & I like the fingerprint proof feature on outside.

Has a hard time drying

Looks great, very quiet, has some great features. I wish the 3rd shelf (the top most shelf) was larger. The only problem is that it does not dry the dishes very well. Bottom shelf, dry. Upper shelf, wet to very wet. Top most shelf, very wet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn’t clean well. The dishwasher itself is dirty

It’s very quiet and looks nice. But it doesn’t lock, doesn’t clean well and is always smelly no matter how much I clean it and empty the filter and add the cleaning tablets
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
