This is an excellent tumbler, but...

The 24-oz. SNAPSEAL Byron tumbler is pretty great. It's light-weight, holds the perfect amount, and keeps the contents hot or cold for extended periods of time. However, there are three things I'm not so crazy about.
The first issue for me is that the 24-oz. tumbler only comes in two colours... "Stormy Weather" and Matte Black.
While the Matte Black is lovely, I was afraid that it would get all scratched up. I felt that the matte black finish would have been higher maintenance than the other tumbler, so I begrudgingly bought the other colour... A glossy, steel blue colour called "Stormy Weather". It's a great tumbler, but I'm not the biggest fan of the colours it came in. I would have preferred to buy this tumbler in a more versatile, more neutral colour like a gunmetal grey or a plain, unpainted stainless steel colour.
The second issue for me is that I noticed that the tumblers were not all created equal. I felt that I had to unscrew (and re-screw) all of the tumblers before purchase to make sure that they were all threaded properly and easy to open and close. I encountered several tumblers that weren't easy to open and close.
The third issue for me is that I also noticed that a lot of the tumblers' rubber grips weren't cut straight... Not really a big deal to most people, but it was to me. I just feel that if there are large gaps or holes present, water would get trapped between the steel and the rubber and it would get all moldy and stinky... Not the kind of thing you want to inadvertently be inhaling when you're drinking your coffee or tea.
Lucky for me, aside from the colour, the one I ended up with was perfect.
I hope to see more colours in the 24-oz. SNAPSEAL Byron tumbler in the future and better quality control in terms of better threads and better-fitting rubber grips.

Snapseal hard to open

Love the overall product. Purchased two 16oz cups. Stays hot for hours, fits in my cup holders,doesn't leak and seems to be durable. However the lid is awkward to screw on and very hard to open the snapseal. Definitely not operable with one hand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Leaked EVERY time

No matter how careful I was putting the lid on, it ALWAYS leaked. Ended up throwing it away.

Leak Proof Mug Leaks!

the product does not perform as advertised on the bottle. It leaks when tilted, the snap seal is difficult to get open and causes splashing if the container is too full and it has not kept my coffee hot during my morning commute, which is typically 45 minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

NOT leak proof!!!!!

I got a bunch of these with this cap style because they're easier to clean and don't get gunk stuck in them like the push button caps do. However, it is very easy to lift the lid on these, especially if you put this in a bag with other things. If you carry this by hand with nothing else in your hand, than you're good to go, but who does that? Everyone puts there tumbler in a bag to carry at some point. Hundreds of dollars worth of my personal items ruined because the cap opening came open and lifted up. I won't be using these anymore, it's just not worth the risk of damage.

Broke in couple times of use

I purchese a purple mug and the top broke andthe coffee was runing down, purchase a new one a little bigger and the top didn’t broke but my coffee leaks! Will not buy againg this brand of mug!

So annoying design

I purchased this and had the most disappointing experience. I literally had to take off the lid and drink ... i am returning this. The mouth is really annoying and inconvenient. Try sipping your hot coffee and see how it feels...such an annoyance.
