I found this bottle was difficult to drink from, the lip is very deep and I tend to burn my lip when trying to sip from the bottle. The SNAPSEAL is very strong, which makes it seal well, but it is definitely hard to open with one hand. The quality of the product (materials, etc.) seems really good, but not a very usable design for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Was looking for something to keep my morning drink HOT while I travel to fox hunts and horse shows.. This mug is amazing! it will never leave my side! It also stands up to the hard "barn life" Thank you Contigo!

Best Travel mug I've every had.

I love this mug. I didn't want a mug with springs or mechanisms that would rust or break, it just tightly snaps shut. I love it so much I bought two more as backup just in case the company decided to discontinue this model as companies often do. I keeps my coffee at a drinkable temperature in the cold for a reasonable time. No complaints here whatsoever. I wish I could find the large size in the stores, but I'll keep looking for it. :-)
