I LOVED this mug, but then...

I got this mug as a gift when I complained that I couldn't find a good coffee mug that I could throw in my purse without worrying about leaks on my commute to work. It was absolutely perfect, for a few months! Kept my coffee SUPER hot and the lid was reliable without leaks, and I was recommending it to my coworkers left and right! Now, the little rubber seal in the lid has stretched out and I can't squeeze it back in. I've had two experiences where the mug has leaked all over my bag and ended up ruining a cherished pair of white jeans :( Looks like replacement lids are out of stock, too. I am crushed! This really was a perfect mug, I'm sad it only lasted a few months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Started leaking after a week

It was great till it started leaking, I can no longer sip from it with the lid on or put it in my bag while I travel.

The seal failed in the first use

I Bought the 24 oz Byron mug and in the very first use with hot water, the rubber seal fell out and the mug has leaked After I put it back it fell out the nest time I used it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Small Part Lost, No more Leakproof

I like the bottle size, the temperature of my cold drinks and the ease to open. However, I don't know when but the red ball that seals the Snapseal fell off. How can I get back one to reattached? When I was researching to make my purchase, the video said no small parts. This was quite misleading as an integral small part renders the mug useless in terms of leakproof.

It’s a Love Hate relationship with my contigos

My wife and I have 1 auto seal that works great but We have 6 contigo snap seal but only 3 Lids are still usable . They are amazing until the seal pops out of the Lid and is no longer spill proof and very hard to put the seal back in I haven’t figured out how.. My most recent purchase last month came out after 3 weeks of using it.. 2nd guessing all of my purchase of contigo now unfortunately

I was happy but not anymore.

I bought 20 oz snap mug about a month ago. It works great until last night it leak thru. I fixed the o ring and still leaks. My friends had the same problem so I'm not happy about that. They need to improve the oring.

Problem with the lid

I have had 2 of these cups. They work great for about 9 months. About that time the seal in the lid stretch's causing the lid to leak with every sip. The company doesn't seem to sell a replacement seal nor lid. Other lids they do sell do not fit this particular cup. I would not buy this model again. This cup has ridges on the outside of the cup versus the inside which is required by the lids they do sell.

Survived a car wreck!

I had a fresh cup of coffee with me on my way to work. I was driving on a highway and ended up getting into a car accident. My car was completely totaled and I was taken to the ER for medical clearance. Around 6 hours later, I went back to the towing yard to get my belongings out of the car. I grabbed my coffee cup AND THE COFFEE INSIDE WAS STILL PIPING HOT!!! Not to mention, not one leak anywhere. The lid stayed on tight and not a drop of coffee got out, despite the fact that the cup had been thrown around inside the car during the wreck. This cup is AMAZING. I have never been more impressed with a mug. 100% would recommend!!
