Not the best mug ever

This product does not live up to how it's advertised at all. Mine has leaked from day one and the gasket on the inside of the lid keeps coming off every time I open it. It also doesn't keep my coffee hot for the 9 hours and my cold drink for 17 hours like they claim it's supposed too. I do not recommend this item to anyone in fact I want my money back for the mug and everything it has ruined when it leaks everywhere on my clothes, in my car, on my carpet and my couches!!!

i guess this contigo doesn't want to keep my drink inside. I poured my coffee and decided to put it in my backpack. As im walking to work i feel my coffee drip through my bag. not impressed

Do not drop it lid is not sturdy

I dropped this on time in the parking lot and the lid cracked it was on my bumper of my car about 2 feet.
Coffee all over my shoes and pants for the work day!

Leaks from the seal!

This mug would be great if it didn’t leak all over me every time I use it. It keeps the coffe nice and hot but when I go to take a sip I get spilled on and it makes for a horrible experience!

This is my second contiguous, the rubber seal seems to be to large for the seat so my coffee seaps out
& drips

So dissapointing - Could be great

Like others my seal gave up in a month which wouldn't bother me as much if I didn't like the cup so much. As a seal designer I believe this was avoidable and it is a design flaw from the factory. Probably not much financial incentive to re-design the seal.

I discovered Contigo coffee mugs several years ago and I loved the fact that it could fall in anyway and would not leak. The lid was a little bit of a contraption but I could deal with it and it was easy enough to clean. The mugs are still A-1 but the lids not so much. Although I like the ease of use of the autoseal mugs, the lids are impossible to clean plus I don't like to drink coffee from stainless steel. So my only option was the the snap seal plastic mug. Still a great coffee mug and the snap seal lid is easier to clean but it takes some effort to push up the snap seal. If this part could be made just a little easier to open I'd give this mug a 5 star.
