Worst lid design ever!

The body is good. It actually keeps the warm warm and cold cold. The lid is another story. Hard to clean, for one. There always seems to be some residue somewhere in the cap. I'm sure this is in no way healthy as mold and other nasties could fester there. After about 6 months of use maybe once a week the rubber seal under the cap came out. It's impossible to get back in. The mug is now useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

And To further fulfill the process, we would like to work with you and we hope that you can share your time. For quality purposes and for the improvement of our products, we would highly appreciate if you can answer the given questions:
When and Where was the product purchased? (approximate date, if you are unsure) How do you wash the product? Hand wash, dishwasher, both How frequently did you clean the product? What liquids were you putting in the bottles? Soda, tea, coffee, juice, etc. What temperatures were the liquids (in general)? Hot, cold, both Was the damage caused by the product being dropped?
Lastly, please verify your physical mailing address. We are not able to ship to a PO Box address. We want to ensure to send your replacement(s) to the appropriate address.

Very dissapointed

Drinks kept hot for at least 6hours but started leaking after about a month due to the seal got a replacement same again the seal is the problem

I love this mug!

More than 9 hours after I put my hot tea in the mug it was still steaming hot. I seriously thought it was a lie until i tried the mug.. then I tried it with ice water. 12 hours later it's still ice in my mug.. I'm super hype.. I love and now I have to get one for my boyfriend!

Im usually pretty satisfied with contigo products but this particular thermos has given me problems. It leaks and its chipping. Not too happy with it.

The thermal flask

I am in the British Military and the 20oz flask fits perfectly in an ammo pouch and drinks stays hot for hours even in cold temperatures. I would highly recommend to everyone. I would say that if you do use a dishwasher to clean the lid, check the rubber ring when you take it out, as sometimes it does slightly pop and this does induce a poor seal but easy to to push back in place. If you speak alot of time outdoors this is the best flask out there, highly recommend.

Keeps liquids hot but leaks everywhere

I have purchased several styles of Contigo travel mugs over the last 10 years. The best things about this mug are that it does keep liquids hot for a long time (haven't tried cold liquids) and the 24 oz size holds plenty. The grip on the mug is comfortable and the base fits in my vehicle's cup holder. The lid is easier to wash than some other types. Unfortunately, these features are overshadowed by a MAJOR flaw - there is a flimsy removable gasket inside the lid and after a few washes, it will not go back in and seal properly, allowing these mugs to leak everywhere. Contigo does not sell replacement gaskets. Even though they have been hand washed, the paint started chipping almost immediately. We have 4 of these and after only a few weeks all of them are useless. A pricey, disappointing purchase.

I have more than one Contigo products and have challenges with both, but I will only speak to this one. I have had this mug since Oct 2019, as of Dec 1, it started leaking and nothing seem to stop it. I paid a premium in comparison to others products when I was buying. Before now, I would have recommended it, but not now. I would like a better replacement or my money back.

We have 4 of the SNAPSEAL Byron 16 oz coffee mugs and my husband and I love them and use them everyday. I would have loved to have rated them 5 stars, but I came to this site specifically looking for replacement seals and a replacement lid. I love, love, love how I still have ice cold water (and ice) in my mug 12-14 hours after I filled it, and my husband reaches right past at least 10 other mugs to get to his Contigo Snapseal Byron for his piping hot coffee or his ice cold tea. I have always washed my Contigo mugs by hand, but the seals in my husband's favorite mug have now worn down enough to cause leaking, and I dropped my mug in the driveway when getting out of the car yesterday and the lid broke badly (seals ain't gonna help this one!). I had hoped Contigo sold replacement lids and seals as 2 of the 4 mugs I currently have are now down for the count in less than 9 months - but these aren't cheap or disposable mugs and I hate the idea of throwing them away because I can longer use them as intended/designed. I got my hopes up when I saw replacement SNAPSEAL lids on your website, and was highly disappointed to find out they are not only out of stock, but have been for quite some time now. I love my mugs but am not inclined to buy more knowing how fast they wear out and that I can't get replacement parts for them. PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME THROW THEM OUT - WILL THE LIDS TO ANY OF THE OTHER CONTIGO MUGS FIT MY 16 OZ TRAVELER'S MUG and provide a tight seal??
