Contigo Snap Lid Does its job!

I purchased one over a year ago and I love it. It does exactly what it was created for; it keeps my hot tea hot for hours and my cold drinks (full of ice) for 24 hours. I love a product that does what it says it will do. It doesn't leak even on its side. The only thing I recommend is cleaning properly. I was only rinsing and a there was a black coal looking build up on the inside of the lid. I used q-tips to clean it and then I rinsed it well to make sure there was no residue! But by far, this has been my fav!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best coffee travel mug

I have 4 of these in various sizes and colors. The newest one from Christmas so I was amazed when it was leaking. Turns out the seal was twisted; removed and replaced it; Perfect travel mug as always; leak proof and hot coffee. .

The sip opening is too small to be safe for hot beverages. It's just a small, round hole, so it's impossible to sense the beverage temperature before it's too late and lips are burned. This is only my opinion, but I think the sipping area needs to be redesigned. All of the other features of this container are 5 star.

Bad seal design...leakage will happen!

There is a faulty gasket used in this coffee mug. the poor quality of the gasket is getting deformed and causing leakage. I found out after hot coffee spill all over me! It needs a new gasket with a better durometer. Please improve or you will have more customers burned with hot drinks.

The best product for any beverage.

I am so glad that I discovered this amazing product. I use it everyday for work, home and pretty much everywherwle else I go. It keeps hot beverages hot for hours and hours and keeps cold beverages cold for I discovered over a day. I have had ice in there that has lasted well over 24 hours even when it has Been sitting out in my car in the hot sun. I dont know what kind of magic this is, but wow so amazing.

I did not know about Contigo until I won the snapseal 24 oz at a gift swap. Well actually my kid won it and I absconded with it. I had recently left my other mug not from Contigo on some vendor table in Orlando so I had been looking for a good replacement. Not only does this mug show up every freaking day to accompany me to work (commute is 2.5 hours in the morning), my coffee stays pretty good until about 1 pm. I have experienced a little leakage - however this is due to over-filling - so I cannot fault the snapseal. After I am over the coffee I will then rinse and fill with ice water. Here is when the snapseal really shines!! I almost never finish my water before bed, however, I am always impressed that I have ice cubes to empty the next morning!! If I had to say anything negative, it would be that the grip on the mug does shift ever so slightly (more on my frosty blue than my matte black). But seriously folks, that has absolutely NOTHING to do with it's performance on the inside which is where it ultimately counts. I have sealed it and put it in my bag. I have not had leaks because I take care to not over fill it or put it in my bag upside down. I'm kinda smart like that - why push the envelope? It's way more fun to write a positive review than to spend all day complaining about something not working correctly because it was not used wisely. CONTIGO - thanks for a great affordable mug - the Bryon rocks!!
