Was great for a month

This travel mug is one of the best out there, or I thought it was. After 12 uses the rubber seal expanded or lost its shape. It is now no longer leak proof. All I want is a new rubber seal but can't find it anywhere
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

survived a car crash

I'd recently got given this thermos/mug as a present for Christmas, being a teenager I wasn't too keen on it but still thankful. Recently I was sitting in the front passenger seat of a car and my (this) thermos keeping my green tea hot, when we got into a car crash! my mug/thermos was UPSIDE DOWN on the floor in front of me. when I picked it up, not only was my tea still the same temperature, but not a single drop had escaped on me or the floor around me. If it wasn't for this flask/thermos/mug, I could've ended up with burns all over my legs, on top of the injuries I've already sustained. 5 STARS!! wouldn't recommend any other mug.
-over the 3 hours spent at the scene of the accident talking to emergency personnel, the temperature of my tea barely got colder (more than 3 hours)
I would recommend this to a friend!

no longer stays hot

I have had this mug for around 6 months now and my tea no longer stays hot. my morning tea is Luke warm within 2hrs. Very disappointed.

Was the best bottle but...

I absolutely loved this bottle, have got 2, kept the contents piping hot, was easy to use, didn’t spill....until the rubber seal came loose and everything spurted out everywhere in my bag!! So disappointed, the seal has somehow stretched and won’t fit back in now so the bottle is useless

I fell in love with how cool the bottle looked but actually using it was horrible. It would just keep leaking everywhere whenever it wanted to. It ruined notebooks and textbooks for me and i am extremely angry. I always ALWAYS made sure it was closed tightly, cleaned right and closed. It would never leak when i drank out of it but whenever i put it in my bags (it ruined 2 of my bags) it would just leak everywhere. Plus it is extremely difficult to even open the rubber seal. I love the design but it doesnt work!

I see some reviewers are having leaks. There is a small thin silicone seal on the lid that needs loving care. Washing by hand will help your snapseal lid to seal perfectly for years. Other reviewers are having a hard time with the seal. It loosens up a little over time. This product keeps our drinks piping hot and cold for hours. I would love to see more colors in the 16 oz. :-)

My husband loves this container. He has a problem with his hands and this has worked out quite well for him. I have bought back ups and several lids (because we just recently broke one).

I got my a Bryon Snapseal for Christmas and now the seal came out of the lid. Well this prevents it from leaking so now this awesome travel mug has to be babysitted from the slightest disturbance or it will spill everywhere. Replacement lid? Seal? Thanks Carl
