So disappointed

After using other Contigo mugs, and having high recommendations from friends, we bought two of these mugs to take our coffee to work. The mug doesn't keep coffee hot, or even lukewarm. Today it dropped (empty) from my hand at counter height onto vinyl floor, and it snapped apart, the outer plastic came off leaving it in two pieces. I've had this mug two days. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lid nightmare

I bought this mug a few months ago, after a few weeks the seal inside the lid came off and was leaking. I've managed to put it back in but since then the seal comes off frequently, therefore the mug is unusable. As I don't own a dishwasher, I always cleaned the lid & mug by hand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible design

Bought two. When filled with hot drink, the outside of the cup warms up. The outer cover popped of and is in two pieces now. Will not be buying this style again.

mine only stays hot for about 2 and a half hours

Upset that it gets cold so quick. I only like coffee it it is out of the pot hot.

It hold liquid and is easy to clean but....

I wanted to try out this design because even with special scrubbing brushes there is always disgusting stuff going on inside my Westloop lid that is impossible to get clean enough to make me feel OK about using it.
The design is very easy to clean and it holds a fair bit of coffee.
It doesn't keep it warm. At all.
And worst, if I so much as put it in my bag upright, it will unseal and leak everywhere. Just spend a very uncomfortable flight with coffee leaking and reeking up my bag just by my placing this in my bag upright and carefully before heading to the airport. Had to wash the bag and everything in it once I got to my destination and I didn't get to drink my coffee en route.
Can you please make this same easy to clean design with better thermal protection and most importantly a better locking mechanism?

Disappointed in the top. I like the old tops better. Really disappointed that the old tops don't fit on these cups. The top is hard to open with one hand so I don't think it's an improvement at all over the old ones. Bought 2 of these because of the larger size cup. Will not buy again.

It's big, the seal is great, but it doesn't fit in the cup holders on my Tacoma. Also the top threads are kind of finicky. The drinking hole is too small and not well positioned. Over all I'm still reasonably happy, it's just not the total solution that I was hoping for. I now use if for a thermos to decant into a more usable travel cup. And it takes a Montana visegrip to open the lid for a sip. But I wanted it to be the cup and the thermos all in one. It's ok.

Love ❤️ the snap seal mugs

I have nearly every color and size of the snap seal mugs and absolutely love them for hot and cold (more cold then hot) only problem I have is the scuffing that they all have from my holder JB my car but that's merely cosmetic
