Lid Very Hard to put on..

The lid is very hard to put on, it really likes to cross-thread when putting it on. I have 5 other Byron type mugs and non of them have this problem. Really ruins the idea of having 24 ounces of morning coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

SOOOOO Happy I Brought Three for My Husband

My husband works outside, sometimes majority of the day. In the winter I send him hot tea, soups and other hot meals. He doesn't have a set time to eat lunch; however when he does eat lunch no matter the time his food and teas are ALWAYS HOT.

I have an older Contigo with a different lid that I love! It has just worn out and the don't make that lid any longer. I bought this one in hopes it would be close. Nope. Not only that, it doesn't keep fluids hot as long as my old one. Disappointed.

Amazing mug, but no replacement lid

I could not be more pleased with this mug, it is amazing! I have 4 of them and I buy them for gifts, too. My coffee stays hot for hours! Ice water still has ice in it 8 hours later! I’m disappointed because the rubber plug on one of my lids came off in the sink and went down the drain and I came to the website to order another lid. It appears they don’t sell the Snapseal lids, hence the only reason I did not leave a 5-star rating.

GREAT MUG - WHILE THE SEAL LASTS

I absolutely LOVE THIS TRAVEL MUG! Size (I have a small one my husband has a bigger one and lids are interchangeable) and shape are fantastic, keeps my tea hot for most of the work day, which is great for me as I tend to sip on one tea all day. THE PROBLEM is that the seal inside the lid tends to stretch after a couple of months and then the cup leaks everywhere. You can reseat the seal a couple of times but it stretches to the point of no return and then you need to replace it. I have replaced the cup once but now I need a new one again and I don't have a receipt any longer. Also, the paint on all of these mugs has chipped and faded, and again, this looks awful after a few months - and is not warrantable btw. I have always handwashed them - cups and lids- so the dishwasher is not the problem here! I wish that Contigo would either use a better seal, or provide extras when you purchase the cup. It is a simple fix and I wouldn't have to be running to the store to change the whole thing out everytime.
