The cup mechanism broke on the second day of use

It was a gift from my wife. That's why the value of the cup was much higher for me than its price. And it very, i mean very very, disappointing, when it broke on a second day of use. (
So, i don't recommend you to buy it.

I've lost the silicone stopper and don't see a way to buy a new one and the replacement lid for this mug isn't available. I have had to re-seat the silicone stopper more than once but I can't find it this time.
I also have a 20 oz mug with a lid that doesn't seat correctly onto the top of the mug.
All of my mugs, (1) 24 oz and (2) 20 oz, have had the silicone ring come unseated. That's easy enough to fix by removing it and settling it back in place with a dull knife because only a dull knife will fit into the groove and not damage the seal.
Don't get me wrong, I love my mugs but there are some things about them that have become difficult over time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I used to love contigo mugs. But three mugs that I purchased just two months ago all show signs of leakage from the lid. The gaskets are coming loose from two of the mugs, and third one is almost completely off. Its now impossible to carry a cup of coffee for ten minutes without the coffee dripping over the sides. And I am forced to take the lid off completely to avoid coffee dripping over my clothes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I went through a dozen travel mugs and this one was easily the best. Doesn't leak and it's strong and it keeps my coffee hot from 7am to near noon while I'm working at my desk. That's all I wanted and it works.

The added option to reheat my coffee when I get side tracked is wonderful. Also the snap seal is great, it's truly leak proof. I just can't find any of these in my local area any more.
