The extra large capacity and the insulation make this the go to mug for a day on the river fishing. The only issue I have found is making sure the lid is seated correctly takes a little adjustment compared to the other contigo products.

pro leakproof, con doesnt stay hot

So I got this mug for coffee on the go. It doesnt do a good job of keeping it hot, and most disappointimg is the fact that the stopper got lost, even though i only hand wash carefully. I cant even use it now, which defeats the purpose of buying it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My sister gifted me my first Contigo Byron. I loved it so much I bought another for myself and one for my husband. Then they came out with the 24oz version! Yay! I got 2 more and paid my sister's thoughtfulness forward to my brother and sister-in-law. Now they love their Contigos as well! Great product. My coffee stays hot all day and does not leak even a drip when I toss it in my purse or grocery bag or briefcase. Awesome!!

Always loved Contigo cups. This cup is very poorly designed. Lid is hard to screw on. Snap is really difficult to lift to open. Must position mouth just right on lid or will leak all over you. Rubber grip good but can't put in dishwasher or water will be forced under rubber and like other reviewer said will smell. Does keep beverage hot or cold
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the perfect coffee mug, an XL Dunkin coffee fits right in & stays hot for hours!! It never leaks so my work bag is clean again!! I got the mate black one for my husband, he uses for cold drinks... He puts ice in & refills all day, there's still ice in it when he gets home... We highly recommend these mugs... I love my new Snapseal! It works great for both hot and cold drinks. It seals very well. One benefit is that I can use it for carbonated beverages as you can leave it unsealed. And I love the color, which is rose.
