My coffee stays hot beyond 5 hours. Had to learn how to drink from it without spilling, but now I like it. Wish when it was closed it had a tighter seal on it. When it tipped over, coffee came out. Wish the bottom was a bit larger to fit snug in my coffee holder in the car.

Used it for the first time this morning out hunting, it seals well but coffee was lukewarm after about 1 hour.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome, but....

I bought these on a whim because Walmart was selling a 4-pack for a really good price which I couldn't pass up. I immediately fell in love with the colors - one was a pretty blue, the other a purple/pink hue and then two silver ones.
Pros:: I love the way they feel, very smooth and comfortable in your hand. I also don't know what people are complaining about the exterior getting hot - a fresh brewed cup of coffee didn't heat up the metal body, the only part that seemed to hold any sort of heat was the lid which became warm to the touch. This definitely does the job in keeping your bevarage of choice nice and hot and of course as the hours go by it does taper off to luke-warm, but still a good temp to drink your cuppa.
Now for the cons:: The lid, which is very well-made, is incredibly hard to open. I have to use two hands to pry the top up to open the drinking hole. I'm not a big fan of this as I'm normally a very on-the-go kind of person and having to stop to pry open my coffee is a little irritating.
Final thoughts:: For the price point, this product is definitely a go-to if you don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a good travel mug.

funky mold smell

the cup is very good on keeping the temperature the same for long periods of time but after my first use the rubber stopper that prevents leakage started to smell like mold. :( ( if you're wondering i drank tea ) no matter how much i clean it the smell wont disappear. I might buy a new lid but i'm afraid its going to happen again.
