My ice water stays cold for 36 hours. I just put in new ice as my glass empties. The cup doesn't leak at all and I throw it everywhere. My only complaint is the design of the mouth piece, it seems to run down my chin every time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Decent water bottle

Does not keep liquids hot very long (2 hours), nor cold for long (ice melted in 1-1/2 hour). Is easy to sip and does not leak.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Coffee is lukewarm 4 hours later

Fresh from the coffee pot brewing cycle, I poured my coffee into my Contigo mug. Four hours later, I poured the last of my coffee into my cup and was disappointed to find it was only lukewarm and wasn't even enjoyable to drink.

I bought this mug to keep my coffee hot all morning at work. It claims that it stays hot for 7hrs. This is not the case. It may stay hot for only an hour. I was very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My favorite coffee cup

My hot coffee stays hot, my ice water stays cold...all day! And the best part is that if you close the lid, it doesn't leak. I liked the auto seal feature on the other water bottles, but they were harder to clean, and sometimes the lids broke. This style is easy to clean, and the quality is wonderful.

I use the cups I bought for my iced coffee and for water and they stay so cold! I love them! There's still ice in my cup in the morning!! Im sure they work just as good for hot beverages!

After years of going through various makes and models of mugs, I purchased a 24 oz. Contigo. I was blown away by how well it worked. It kept my coffee piping hot for hours. Then it kept my water ice cold all day long. I would fill it up with ice before I left home and kept refilling it with water. At 2 o'clock in the morning most of the original ice would still be in the mug....even though I had been constantly pouring more water in the container. Great! I posted a picture of this wonder mug on Facebook! I liked it so much I purchased a couple for my friends as gifts. I liked my mug so much I bought a 20 oz one the I h\use just for hot fluids like coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Then I turned around and bought some more Contigo mugs .....just to have on hand if I should ever lose or misplace one. LOL All said I now have 9 Contigo mugs in my home. I always have my first one with me. I have it at work, at home..I take it everywhere!
