Definitely not leak proof

I recently purchased these bottles because of the fantastic design and overall appeal. The first impression soon wore off as I realized that these bottles leak everywhere! You would think that's the first thing someone making a water bottle would test for. If you want a non-functional water bottle and shaker, this is the one for you.

Disappointed

I liked the bottle, but after using it only a handful of times, the ball created a large crack in the bottom of the bottle and now it leaks. Not much good to me leaky. :(

Great until it breaks.

This bottle shakes drinks very effectively. It's also very easy to clean, as advertised. However, this bottle cannot stand up to hard shaking. The only reason I had to shake hard was because the protein powder was clumping up if I didn't shake as hard. But now the bottom of the bottle has cracked, and it leaks. I would say that, if you have or buy this bottle, shake it upside down because the lid seems to be more robust that the bottom of the bottle. 1 star because they could have EASILY reinforced the bottom of the bottle by not hollowing it out.

Wanted to love this bottle!

This bottle feels substantial, as if it's made very well. The weighted shaker mixes my powder without an issue and the rounded bottom is easy to clean. I picked this particular model because the packaging said it was okay to use with carbonated beverages, but it is not! This thing leaks like a siv. The lid that you turn to close drips and leaks when the thing is full and closed but when you pick it up to drink the water or protien drink pours out of the bottom part of the lid (where it screw on the bottle). Ive quit using it because every time I do my clothes get drip stains--this thing should come with a bib!

1st use and lid broke

Bought a 2 pack of these yesterday and used it during my workout today and the threading for the cap where you drink out of has broken making it utterly useless.

Not impressed with shaker

I purchased this shaker a couple of months ago. I kept noticing liquid on the floor and counter. I thought the cover was loose so I tightened it. It took me a while to realize the bottom was cracked. It wasn't like it when I purchased it. I figure the shaker must have cracked it. I went back to the store I purchased it and they wouldn't do nothing. I purchased another somewhere else for a better price. See what happens to this one. So far so good. I examine it after every use.

The Perfect Shaker for Workouts

I bought this to replace another shaker bottle that I bought and it is so much better. I can carry the powder in the bottle and mix it before I work out without having to put it in a separate bag. The only down side is that it is a little hard to drink from it while doing cardio but its perfect for breaks between sets.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Leaks a lot

I've had two Contigo bottles. I had the 24 oz Jackson water bottle and, right now, I have this shaker bottle. Both leak. I was mad throwing a perfectly fine water bottle out, but there's no good use in a leaky bottle. I thought for sure getting a shaker bottle would stop anything from leaking out, but I guess not. The price is great, but I'm not going to spend any amount of money on something that leaks all over the place. I hate leaning over the floor to drink as I hear liquids dripping out onto the floor. I've always enjoyed Contigo products, but I'm going to start looking at different brands to find one that doesn't leak all over.
