Bought 2 now & both busted the bottom

I love how great these mix the shakes, but I’ve now had TWO that have busted a hole in the bottom! I thought the first was just a crazy accident, bought a new one a few weeks ago & the same thing happened! Completely disappointed!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had this bottle for about 3 years now, and I row competitively, so I've put it through some pretty wet kilometers and muddy race sites. It is amazing. I don't trust the flip-straw verisons (leaky) but this is just a screw top, so it is totally leak proof. Previous reviews mention leaking, but I've never had a problem unless I haven't closed it tightly enough, and that's user error, not Contigo. Trust me, it can bang around the shell of a boat on its side for 2 hours and still be tightly closed. The hard plastic on the handle is very sturdy, a great place to clip keys or whatnot and large enough to comfortably carry the bottle with. Absolutely zero complaints. This thing can take a beating.

Don’t even know how it happened, but used it one time and the bottom is cracked and it now leaks. Worst investment ever.

Love the design but breaks easily

I love the design of the bottle. With the contoured bottom, itis so easy to clean. I have tried other shake bottles and this one is able to thoroughly mix all the protein powders without getting a whole clump of powder stuck to the spout. Unfortunately, after one month, the base cracked from the ball shaking. I bought another one with better hopes, but that broke also within a few days. The cup itself needs to be designed and maybe made thicker for durability. Hope this makes a difference!

I needed a replacement lid for my coffee mug and it’s an older model so I wasn’t sure it would fit. Well I’m happy to report it fits perfectly and my favorite mug is back in top form. Thanks Contigo for making great products. While shopping I also found the Shake and Go- I’m always in the run and don’t like to take my vitamins on an empty stomach so now I put my vitamins in the bottom and my shake and the top and once I’m about halfway done then I take my vitamins.

This bottle leaks

I bought 2 of these last week and both of them leak at the cap. My protein shake leaked in my gym bag and soaked my clothes. I love this bottle but I wish it was leak proof as advertised. I have other Contigo bottles and never had this issue. Unfortunate I can't use this shaker for my protein shakes.
