I love how easy the Hoover spotless portable carpet and upholstery cleaner is. I can use it for small spills for a easy quick clean-up. I especially love how light it is and easy to use in my car.

Okay so I don't normally leave reviews but I am just so upset with this machine.. let me start off by saying that I loved it at first! After about 5 small uses (just to clean up small amounts of pee from a 2lb puppy that we are trying to house train) it now leaks!! So upsetting as like i said, I did love it, the suction and how easy it was to use, but now that it leaks I can't even keep the water in it to use!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and after first use all cleaning solution leaked out and there was a wet spot under the machine when I finished using it. Thinking it may be user error I made sure the tank was in properly and secured before second use. There are two sample bottles that came with the machine. The second bottle leaked out as well during and after use. I've had another brand for years and after it died I thought Hoover would be a good replacement. I guess the price was to good to be true. It is being replaced so I will update review when I receive it. But I cannot recommend this product right now due to the leaking issue. Update: I received the replacement and on first use all cleaning solution leaked out again. This is a horrible product and I would have thought it would be made better but it's cheap parts and poor quality are very disappointing. Reading other reviews it looks to be an issue Hoover hasn't fixed yet.

I've used this cleaner 3 times now and it leaks every time from the clean water/solution tank. I ended up wrapping a rubber band around the connection to help desk it and that seems to have reduced the leak. It does clean very well, just wish I could solve this leak problem.

Very good suction power and good concept. Two MAJOR issues: (1) it has leaked terribly from the underside of the unit since day one. This requires you to put a plastic tray or something similar underneath, because the dirt, pee, and poo that you're suctioning up is what leaks out! Yuk! (2) It must be fully cleaned after every single use or it stinks. You spend way much more time cleaning it out than you do with the spill/stain cleanup itself. Good concept, just not good in the execution. Hard to believe this design made it through quality control. Bad reflection on Hoover.
