I have been used otterbox cases for at least 10 years and have never had a damaged phone. Even had one fly off of a truck and hit concrete going 30 mph. The case was destroyed but the phone was fine.

Since I have been using smart phones, back to the iPhone 3, I have used nothing but otter box defender. I have accidentally dropped all of my iPhones. None of them have suffered any damage at all. Best investment for an iPhone!

Great case ... our 6th case! However, the case had some sort of residue on the screeen, tiny specs, like an oily substance. With an LCD cleaning cloth and a microfiber towel to dry, I was able to get most of it off. I've given this rating 5 stars because of outstanding customer service, sending us a new one. Thank you!
