[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife picked this out after reading Consumer Reports. We were going through a kitchen remodel which included all new appliances. We had a good Insinkerator, but it was very noisy. So why not?
This is the quietest garbage disposal I have ever heard. The housing is quite large, but it is a great disposal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only been using this Disposer for a few weeks but so far it is working great. My mother recently bought a different brand and she has had trouble with the water not going down her sink. Plus the drain plug on hers has a rubber stopper where food can get trapped and smell. Mine is made differently and all is good! My old disposer actually was still working after 28 years of use so when I renovated my kitchen I bought another Kitchenaid disposer. Love it so far!
