Great for cooking, not so much for appearance

I've been using this cooktop since September in my new home build. While it cooks well, the cooktop is cheaply made, like tin. It scratches easily, the burners get stains around the flame part. I have water stains that have imbedded into the stainless steel. And when cooking, grease splatters all throughout the surface, requiring a full cleaning each and every time. With time will look into replacing the product with a better made cooktop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am an architect, and appreciate the low profile and clean lines of this cooktop. It also lights easily and cooks well at all levels from high to simmer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooktop cooks good and is easy to clean. I wish the knobs were on the side, it seems that no matter what burner I use (except the back two), I end up having to clean all the knobs. Otherwise I'm happy with it.
