[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Closest stove I could find to replace my magic chef drop-in range. I ordered the model before this one and after waiting was told it was discontinued. Don’t see much difference in the specs on both. Fortunately I didn’t have to do much remodeling to accommodate this stove. So far it is working well and I am glad I found this stove to meet all my old fashioned needs.

Like the coils and the staggered placement on top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this primarily because of the controls in the front. My wife is short and reaching across the hot caps/ pots presented a possibility of burns. My only concern is the lower draw is rather flimsy and sits loosely in it’s tracks. No other complaints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this range as a replacement for an older model. It is nice. Seems to take longer to heat up than my older range. The other day when I was using the oven, I closed the door and noticed the oven light on. I hadn’t remembered that I had turn it on and pressed the oven light button. The light would not go off. Then I had to push the door against the unit for the light to go off. Not sure this is normal. Never experienced this on any model before in my entire life. Also seems to emit more heat into the room than I had expected. Otherwise it seems to be working fine.

Over heating burners & Control panel error codes

Burners over heat (red hot), and wouldn't reduce in heat unless turned off. Control panel replaced once and now experiencing the same issue again. The stove is not functional with the current error codes. Dilemma: replace like-new stove or call Whirlpool technician again
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The range works like any electric range. Ergonomically, the controls being flat and in front of the burners is a bit of a nuisance. Makes us miss our old range that had controls below the level of the burners facing forwards rather than upwards.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I seen this stove I knew I wanted it. 1. It was Whirlpool. 2. Love the controls are in front. 3. Love that the back is open. 4. Love how it alerts me when cooking or the oven. (sounds) it also lets me know temp as its pre heating. The only con is fingerprints.
