Excellent Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased to replace a Kenmore that broke every 6 months like clockwork due to the self cleaning feature. I am so glad I purchased this stove. I got it because it was designed, engineered, and assembled in America. I was skeptical after reading reviews after my purchase prior to delivery. First of all, the pans are removable to wash. The coils have to be pushed in and lifted up first. I think this is a great feature as it actually prevents the coils from moving around. I just adore the oven. I have baked a few things that turned out great! I have had a learning curve because both the coils and the oven are true temperatures unlike all my previous stove. I don't have to cook on high on this one to get a medium heat. This may be due to the digital thermostat but I'm not sure. I love the touch pad instead of the nobs. The nobs were difficult to clean. I also love the self cleaning. This did not break after using the self cleaning function. The overall range is extremely easy to clean. The only complaint the I would have if I had one is that I would have preferred the entire stove be stainless steel. I'm not fond on the black surface but I guess I can live with it. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I hope it lasts for at least the 20 years my washer and dryer lasted prior to giving them away. Thank you Whirlpool for a beautiful product that's actually made in America!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replace 20 year old rang Wife likes everything about it except the timer alarm/bell is very low (hard to hear) & clock could be in a better position!! Display panel is could have a better angle for viewing across the room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this believing it was a drop-in when in fact it is a slide-in. Drop-ins are apparently very rare, anymore. Love the features. Not wild about the timer. Above one minute you cannot select seconds.
