The knives are good but the wood block is poor quality. Cut crooked so had to prop up the bottom corner so it would not rock and also, the slots for the 6 steak knives are not equal depths - looks sloppy. Disappointed.

Nice cutlery set. The handles should have a textured or a knurled type finish to prevent slipping if your hands are the least bit wet. Other than the smooth handles, it is a nice set.

I really like this knife set, however I do have one criticism. The handles on the steak knives are quite narrow and just don't fit comfortably in your hand. The handles on the other pieces are of good weight and are ergonomically designed. The selection of knives is great. If the steak knife handles don't matter to you, then I would definitely recommend because the other knives are excellent.
