Okay, but parts are flimsy

I splurged on this for my husband's birthday a couple of years ago because I wanted him to have a really nice food processor. I like the power of this food processor, but there are unfortunately several draw backs. The top of our bowl broke almost immediately, I think we had used it twice. He actually glued it together because he had a hard time going to purchase a new top so quickly. Recently the large food pusher has also broken and won't stay together. It's a disappointment with such an expensive product. The other draw back is cleaning, there are a lot of nook's and crannies and parts to take apart and hand wash. We find ourselves avoiding using it sometimes if the cleaning process is going to take longer than the time saved. Unfortunately I can't recommend this because it doesn't seem sturdy enough for the cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great machine but bowl is not engineered well

I upgraded to this machine 1 1/2 years ago thinking it would last a life time. The top is better engineered than my old processor. However, I just had to replace the bowl as some pieces chipped off the bottom locking device and it would not work. The rest of the processor is great, but be very careful how you remove the bowl from the stand as it chips rather easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

While I haven't had the chance to use my Breville Food Processor much, I'm happy with its performance. It's powerful yet operates quietly and is very sturdy. I purchased it to replace a previous food processor I've had for 34 years, and it's quite the upgrade. I look forward to using it again soon.

Plastic bowl doesn’t last!

I bought this as a christmas gift for my mother.
For so long she didn’t want to use it since it was such an expensive gift for her! She finally put aside her food processor of 20 years!!! and started using this one!
After couple times she used it, she realized the plastic bowl started cracking in every use.
After 4 times, she is done using it and brought back her 20 year old processor!
Definitely not worth it of the money you pay for it!
For so long she didn’t want to use it since it was such an expensive gift for her! She finally put aside her food processor of 20 years!!! and started using this one!

I’ve love it but

Recently the pusher didn’t stop and it was sliced off into the bowl and damaged the blade.

1000W or 700W

Received on 9/23/22. Works great as expected. Have grated cheese, made pastry dough and pumpkin pie. The manufacturer tag on bottom of my unit states 700W. I purchased for powerful motor as my cuisinart and kitchenaid both failed after grating cheese. Please someone let me know if mine is incorrect or if advertizement is incorrect. Other than discrepancy, I am very pleased.
