Love this blender but take caution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The documentation says that the smoothie cup is dishwasher safe but it partially melted. Also, the warranty for the blender doesnt apply to the smoothie cup. Otherwise, great product
I would recommend this to a friend!

A real workhorse

The blender makes great smoothies. The motor is a real workhorse. The customer service is also wonderful.

Good features and powerful

Works well but the glass broke/shattered just one time that it fell on the ground. Need a better strength of glass. Having a difficult time finding a replacement.

great blender faulty smoothie cup

I love my blender and smoothie cup with the exception of the seam at the top that allows mold to grow in the cup and I have tried soaking it on its blade with detergent with no luck. do you have a 24 oz replacement cup available, I use my smoothie maker daily and have had to purchase an alternative from farberware that also need not hold up to my daily needs so I want my oster back :(

You may try to use 3/4 cup white vinegar and 1/4 cup baking soda, along with about 1/4 cup water. Add this to the blender jar, and blend on high speed for about 30 seconds. Remove the jar from the base and use a soft sponge or cloth to clean the interior, rinse well and dry

I have for 2 weeks and my wife love it but starting rust on the blade I never seen anything like this on oster

Has done a good job until now.

I've owned this since March 2018, and it's worked well. But yesterday the food processor stopped working. The shaft that fits inside the blade is jammed. It has a 3 yr warranty. Would you please replace it?
