Worked great but...

This blender was a perfect for my needs fit until the jar broke. I have been waiting and searching for a replacement jar for a long time and I just don't see when they will restock.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Small Appliance, but need replacements

This is a great small appliance, however, you still cannot buy additional Smoothie Cups. I would be great to have an additional Smoothie Cup, from Oster, not a knockoff "compatible" brand.

Plastic Base

All so far so good with the blender! The manual does not say whether I can put the black plastic base in the dishwasher. Can I put it in the dishwasher? Thanks!

Thank you for taking time to submit a review. We are glad to know that our Oster blender was able to meet your expectations. The blender base not dishwasher safe. However, you can clean the base with a soft, damp cloth. Also, never submerge the blender base in a liquid. Have a great day!

Works great for the price!

I wanted a grinder for making indian chutney and Idli batter..had tried Ninja before this and was not satisfied. And, even though I got this cheaper as compared to Ninja .. this works like magic. It takes me hardly 30 seconds to 1 minute to grind indian chutney or even idli batter . I am so happy with the results .. I would definitely recommend it to my friends
