All around great blender!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving the blender in the mail, I noticed that the blender was well-packaged and once unpacked found that it is also well-made.
I tested this blender by making smoothies that included whole cubes of ice from my freezer's icemaker. The blender has a setting that is for Smoothies! This setting, when pushed, pulses the blender for a few seconds then goes turbo speed to smooth the mixture once chopped up. Perfect, delicious smoothies with no chunks of ice leftover. Impressive!
The blender allows you to manually pulse or blend by pushing those buttons. Along with smoothies, the blender also has options for milkshakes and salsa which uses pre-programmed settings to make those types of foods.
As far as I can tell, from my limited use, is that the motor is powerful enough to power through solid chunks of ice and make a smooth slush out of it. The size of the blender is typical of a full-size blender---nothing special there. The buttons and construction are solid. I would give it a 4 1/2 star if it let me because there isn't an obvious place to wrap the cord up when not in use.
The model I got came with food processor attachment that is a very handy add on. This model also supports the smoothie cup attachment so you can blend your smoothie directly in the cup you're going to drink it out of. The smoothie cup attachments are sold separately, which sucks.

Durable and easy to clean

This product does amazing wonders with my smoothie. I am so in love with this product but for only having it a few weeks. My weekly onion cutting day, goes bye with a breeze. I cut vegetables up for freezing. I recently tried this product with gravy for my mash potatoes YUMMY!!!!EASY!!! I would recommend if you want a amazing product for your every day health kick buy this blender.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food processor was very easy to assemble and use. I have made a few different things with it since I received it. I made cauliflower puree, salsa, and cut up broccoli for a salad. It worked best on the puree and the salsa. I have been wanting a food processor for some time now, and this one works great! Buttons are clearly marked, easy to use, and it's easy to take apart and clean. Would definitely recommend. I received this product for free in exchange for my review. Great Performance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking forward to receiving my Oster Pro 1200 Food Processor Plus. The product did not disappoint. I immediately unpacked it and set it up on my kitchen counter. It looked sleek and professional which is important to me because I frequently need to use this type of appliance to make drinks, smoothies, etc when guests are in my home. I need appeal and function. It was easy to set up. It came with detailed instructions on use but I did t need them. I immediately made smoothies for myself and my husband. The machine worked quickly and very quietly. I normally use a smaller bullet-type machine in the morning that is very loud. It wakes everyone up! This Oster quickly and efficiently blended my smoothie to perfection. I used both the medium setting and pulse option. It was great! My children (12yrs and 14yrs) both used it after me and they were able to quickly make a milkshake and a green smoothie immediately without any help or instruction from me. I am more than happy with the choices of power settings, the ease of use and performance. It's exactly what I was hoping for. A few days after receiving the Oster 1200 Plus I made hummus and several varieties of salsa for a party I held at my home. I used the blender and the processor and both performed perfectly. I will use this product often. It is sturdy, easy to clean and much quieter and more efficient than my other models I have tried. I can now get rid of my bullets, processors and blenders. This is all I need and I am an extremely frequent user! **NOTE: I received this product as a sample in return for my honest review. I wasn't prompted to give a positive or a negative review - just my honest opinion. I tested this product, as did my family for a week before I felt comfortable giving my opinion.**

I have never tried any Oster Products before, but I have to say that it is one of the best Products ever. The quality is awesome and it is very sturdy. It can defiantly make a mean smoothie. I would recommend this product to anyone that is in the market looking for a blender/food processor. It is an amazing product.

Great Blender for Smoothies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is s great blender, especially for the price. I compared several other higher price blenders, looked a lot of reviews, several strain test reviews and decided on this blender. I am glad I did. This blender is great for my frozen fruit smoothies, and we have used it to make cashew milk and chop nuts. It has done very well for all of those. It takes like 60 seconds longer to blend bulky fruits and vegetables than higher priced blenders, but I'd rather save my money than pay much more to shave off a minute. I would recommend this blender for sure. It is a good buy.
