WONDERFUL Smoothies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my 1200 Pro about 6 weeks ago and my wife and I are using it daily to make smoothies. So far I have lost 50 pounds and my wife has lost 30. We even took it with us on vacation. We love it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beware the food processor attachment

We've had this blender since May 2019. The blender gets used almost daily and has held up well so far. No complaints there. But, sweet mother of God, the food processor attachment is the absolute worst piece of garbage I've seen on a consumer product in a while. We got two uses out of it where we successfully made almond and oat flour. And that was it! Today I went to make more oat flour and the base of the processor where the shaft from the motor fits just spins, as if its stripped or something. The blade turns a little, but obviously not enough to process anything. Oster is using cheap plastic gears that seem to only have one use. This was Mothers Day gift and I paid extra money for the food processor attachment. I'm upset because it feels like I've been robbed.

Stay away!!

My smoothie cup broke while blending and spread stuff all over the kitchen.
Now, it will not turn the blade. The motor runs, but nothing happens. Barely 3 years old
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Powerful motor to get max nutrients

I have used this to make Green smoothies. Fibrous greens, seeds, ice.... Crushes and pulverizes everything. Comes out with smooth consistency. All i have to do it hit the smoothie button. It reversed at intervals and runs at different speeds to getting everything into smooth consistency. Easy to keep healthy.
Cleaning.... Lots of complaints and wrongfully accusing the product. Saw on you tube to clean just put water and soap and run the blender. Empty and rinse you are fine.... But that's wrong. Food can get into the threaded base, just like any other blender. One needs to remove the blade assembly from the jar and rinse it out. You are all set.
I believed in what i saw on you tube and got the base stuck in the jar pretty tight. No amount of force would help. Ultimately i had to invent a trick. WD40... It absorbs the moisture in between and in few minutes... Viola... I was able to open. But then i cleaned it thoroughly before use.
Now i remove the blade assembly and rinse it out everytime. No problem at all.
I hope i won't run into problems that some seem to have with parts.

second food processor lid just brok

Have replaced the food processor bowl already, since you needed to buy the whole bowl, blades, and other parts just to replace the lid when the plastic locking tabs break. Unable to find the replacement bowl on the partner sites.

Broken after less than year

I bought my blender 10 months ago and it's not wrking anymore... I haven't used it a lot! Last time I was using the blender and it sundenly stoped working... It's smelling as burnt... very disappointed with wha was supposed to e a "versatile power blender".

Great Blender, no replacement jar!

Purchased the blender in October 2019. Recently the jar developed a small chip on the bottom and now it will not seal. A replacement jar is impossible to find, thus rendering the blender useless.
The typical answer offer by OSTER in these posts are not helpful. Please do not reply to this post saying "sorry this happened", or something to that effect. Just make the replacement jar available or offer a refund.
